Enjoying sunny days has its advantages. But there are disadvantages too. July is Ultraviolet (UV) Protection Month. Light from the sun can be harmful. UV rays can cause cancer, known as melanoma. Melanoma of the skin is the sixth most common cancer in Virginia. Below are some suggestions of how to protect you and your family.
- 涂抹 SPF 为15或更高的防晒霜
- Find shade during the hottest parts of the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 戴上太阳镜和宽边帽
- 穿衣服遮盖皮肤
