{"id":158,"date":"2016-10-26T14:46:03","date_gmt":"2016-10-26T14:46:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/meaningful-use\/?page_id=158"},"modified":"2021-06-29T14:59:50","modified_gmt":"2021-06-29T18:59:50","slug":"aur","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/meaningful-use\/aur\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Meaningful Use&#8221; Antimicrobial Use and Resistance (AUR)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For 2018, NHSN Antimicrobial Use (AU) and Antimicrobial Resistance (AR) (AUR) reporting have been identified as a new option for public health registry reporting under Meaningful Use Stage 3 (MU3).\u00a0This measure applies to Eligible Hospitals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beginning January 1<\/strong><strong>, 2017, a facility enrolled in the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) will be able to register their intent to satisfy the AUR-MU3 objective.<\/strong> The NHSN user interface will include an AUR-MU3 registration page and allow the NHSN Facility Administrator to register AUR-MU3 intent.
