Women, Infants, &amp; Children.&quot;\" width=\"201\" height=\"172\" \/><\/h2>\n<p>Program services include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quality nutrition education and counseling<\/li>\n<li>Breastfeeding support, services and supplies<\/li>\n<li>A healthy food package including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk &amp; more<\/li>\n<li>Referrals to community partners and access to prenatal, maternal and pediatric health care services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)<\/strong> is offered through your local health department and is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.). WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.
