Parents may choose to opt out of the vaccine after reviewing the Virginia Board of Health materials related to the connection of HPV and cancer. These can be found <a title=\"Virginia immunization school requirements\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/immunization\/requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the HPV vaccine can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/hpv\/vaccines\/index.html\">https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/hpv\/vaccines\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>All vaccine data on this page are reflective of doses reported to Virginia's Immunization Information System (VIIS). There may be vaccines administered to people that are not reflected in VIIS, and there may be vaccines administered to people reported in VIIS who are no longer residents of Virginia.
