data-contrast=\"none\">HIV<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"none\">or <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">hepatitis C<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, overdoses <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">needing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> emergency <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">or hospital care<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, and deaths.<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"none\">The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) provides resources to prevent and respond to drug overdoses and other outcomes in Virginia. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">VDH and other state agencies work to improve health outcomes a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">nd<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> reduce injury and deaths from <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">drugs<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, including fentanyl. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">VDH is committed to being a trusted source of public health information and data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW109780027 BCX0\">30% of <strong>acute hepatitis C cases<\/strong> with at least one risk factor reporting injection drug use. <\/span><span
