You will have to return to receive your results a different day.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/local-health-districts\/\">Find a health department clinic near you<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"9mipa-0-0\">These services are available for free or at low-cost. You must complete a short, confidential survey to determine your eligibility. After that, a free self-test kit will be shipped discreetly at no cost to you. detected by most tests for a certain window of time after infection.\u00a0 This is when your body is still making the antibodies the test looks for.\u00a0 We call this the \u201cwindow period.\u201d\u00a0 The window period can last up to 12 weeks after becoming infected.\u00a0 Talk with your healthcare provider or <strong><a href=\"#hotline\">call a hotline counselor<\/a><\/strong>
