Chesterfield Health District EP&R works with state, regional and local emergency response partners to enhance readiness to respond to all hazards, including bioterrorism, infectious disease outbreaks and other public health emergencies. The Chesterfield Health District Medical Reserve Corps (CHDMRC) is a force of dedicated volunteers who stand ready to support the community in the event of a public health emergency. Our unit is comprised of medical and public health professionals who, along with interested non-medical community members, volunteer their skills, expertise and time to support ongoing public health initiatives and health emergencies throughout Chesterfield County, Powhatan County, and the City of Colonial Heights.
